Borrowing from nature, the intricate pattern of the evasive Japanese
knotweed found at the site provides opportunities when its growth
algorithm is taken as a system and applied on the site to let the
bridge grow from two sides of the highway. The branches grow up and
across, bifurcate, spread, and connect. The wilderness once separated by the
highway is reunited again with the delicate pattern weaved by branches
of the bridge.
